UNIVERSAL GENÈVE BLUE/GREY DIAL CIRCA 1960

Superb example of a model of the Universal Genève brand.

Its stainless steel case and its flat handles were used in particular for the models at Hermès in the 60s and 70s.

This piece is special because its blue/grey dial has a patina with a cloud of dots of a slightly bronze color that changes according to the light, which gives it a unique charm.

The stainless steel caseback is clipped on and reveals a manual winding mechanism, the caliber 42, well known to the brand.

The whole is original, crown and buckle included except the strap which is generic.

The whole is in a very clean condition, only one horn is slightly warped but it remains almost imperceptible to the eye.
