RARE ROLEX BUCHERER 1930 ART DECO CATALOG
650,00 €
Very rare little art Deco Bucherer brochure, probably from the 1930s.
In 1888, businessman and entrepreneur Carl Friedrich Bucherer and his wife Louise opened the Bucherer watch and jewelry store in Lucerne. Thanks to their enthusiasm for quality and craftsmanship, they laid the foundations for a company that has lasted for generations.
In the 1920s, sons Ernst and Carl Eduard Bucherer joined the family business. Ernst Bucherer entered into an important partnership with Hans Wilsdorf, the founder of Rolex, in 1924. The inclusion of the Rolex brand, then a recent innovation in his range, marked the beginning of a long and fruitful collaboration that has had a lasting impact on the watchmaking industry.
Since 2024, Bucherer has been part of Rolex, the company's oldest and most important partner. This integration has brought together two companies with a shared history and vision.
Presented here is a rare copy in excellent condition of the catalog and price list of the period. Prices are given in Swiss Francs and Dollars.
It showcases the high-end collections of the time, with Carl Bucherer timepieces, as well as Harwood and Rolex Oyster and Prince models, among others.
The set is in near-new, untorn condition, with its original cut-edge cover and velvet paper.
It's a mine of information for collectors, "the" something extra in a collection.
