JUVENIA OCTAGON SILVER WATCH CA. 1970

Juvenia is a manufacturer of luxury Swiss watches located in La Chaux-de-Fonds, Switzerland. It is one of the few Swiss watch companies to have manufactured watches continuously since its founding in 1860.

This company produced a multitude of models with dials that were sleek, stylized and modern for their time.

This watch is no exception, with the rare distinction of an octagonal case. The very graphic dial in a silver tone becomes darker or lighter depending on the angle of view, and plays with its structured case with polished cut sides, giving it a style that is both sober and highly sophisticated. This example, dating from the 70s is in superb condition, obviously very little worn, and driven by a Juvenia hand-wound mechanism.

The original Milanese mesh strap is removable on this 8699 model, as it was previously available in various versions, including on a leather strap. 

A rare example in this sober, elegant version.
