ETERNA SONIC CATALOG 1970
250,00 €
Rare sales document from the famous Eterna company.
Presented here is a rare copy dealing specifically with Eterna's "Sonic" series of electronic models. This catalog, intended for the Swiss and French markets, is accompanied by its price list for 1970. It praises this watch series powered by the famous tuning fork movement, licensed by Bulova and Brevet Ebauches SA, known as the Accutron by Bulova and the Unisonic by Universal Genève.
Here's an extract from that document:
Near perfection. Always on the lookout for technical progress, Eterna now offers you the electronic watch par excellence: the Eterna Sonic, in which the latest developments find their application. Exclusive models with exclusive precision.
The ultra-modern aesthetics of the Eterna Sonic range from classic shapes to avant-garde models, expressed in a perfectly fashionable assortment of unrivalled diversity. There's also a chronometer version, the only one to come with an official running report. The precision of each and every Eterna Sonic would qualify it for this coveted distinction. However, we believe that it would be practically superfluous to submit all electronic production to the control offices under state supervision.
At present, no other brand has a better electronic watch with a metal resonator. The Eterna Sonic benefits from the latest experience in microelectronics, and has been perfected to the highest precision standards of the Swiss watch industry.
When tested, Eterna Sonic watches deliver astonishing results. To date, no mass-produced watch has been able to give its wearer the certainty of knowing the time with such striking regularity.
