Exceptional and rare sales document from the famous Eterna watchmaking house.
This brochure is a "digest" of Eterna and Swiss watchmaking in the early 60s.
It includes texts and photos from an exhibition in 12 windows of the "Société de Banque Suisse" on Zurich's Paradeplatz, on the theme of time, time measurement, measuring instruments and the watchmaking industry.
It was set up as an instructive exhibition designed to make the complex problems of time and its measurement more familiar to the general public, and particularly to young people.
But it's also a commercial document published to inspire customer confidence.
The brochure is accompanied by its original explanatory letter dated September 1964, all in superb condition.
A very interesting document for those who want to immerse themselves in the concerns of a major watch brand of the time. Much more than just owning a watch, it's an immersion in another era, to find out a little more. A rarity.
